Mr. Enja Uma Mahesh, a final year PhD scholar in the School of Engineering Sciences and Technology (SEST) working under the supervision of Prof. Dibakar Das, presented (Oral) his research work at the young Ceramists Additive Manufacturing 2026 Forum (yCAM 2026), held at the Jožef Stefan Institute from 11–13 May 2026. He presented on the topic titled “Investigation of Field-Assisted 3D Printing of La–Co Co-Doped Strontium Hexaferrite for Permanent Magnet Applications.”

Uma Mahesh expresses his sincere gratitude to the I/c Vice-Chancellor, Prof. J. Anuradha; Dean of SEST, Prof J. P. Gautam; his advisor, Prof. Dibakar Das and the members of the research advisory committee (RAC) for their guidance and mentorship. He expresses his gratitude to the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) for travel support under the International Travel Support (ITS) Scheme which has covered his travel, visa processing and registration fees for the conference. Mr Mahesh has also secured the prestigious European Ceramic Society (ECerS) grant of 500 Euros to partially cover his expenditure related to accommodation, food and local travel at Slovenia. Mahesh sincerely thanks the organizers of yCAM 2026 for their support in enabling his participation at this conference.

Participation in yCAM 2026 provided an opportunity to engage with researchers and experts in the field of additive manufacturing and magnetic materials, fostering valuable scientific discussions, collaborations, and new research perspectives. His participation reflects the University of Hyderabad’s continued commitment to promoting international research exposure and encouraging students to present their work on global scientific platforms.
