Dr. Gollapalli Vanaja has been appointed as a Lecturer in Telugu at SKP Government Degree College (Autonomous), Guntakal, Anantapur District. She secured this position through the competitive recruitment process conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Government of Andhra Pradesh, and formally assumed charge on September 1, 2026.

Prior to this prestigious appointment, Dr. Vanaja served as a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), having been selected through the Andhra Pradesh State District Selection Committee (DSC) examinations in 2025.

Academic Qualifications and Background:
Dr. Vanaja completed her initial schooling at ZP Girls High School, Srikalahasti, and pursued her higher secondary education at SV Oriental College, Tirupati. She earned her Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Telugu from the Department of Telugu, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad (2016–2018), during which she earned the prestigious UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
She completed her Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in 2019 at Presidency College, Chennai, under the academic supervision of Dr. Mamidi Murali, with a research thesis titled “Maguva Manasu Navala – Oka Pariseelana”.
Dr. Vanaja was awarded her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree (Roll No. 20HTPH05) from the University of Hyderabad (2020–2025). Her doctoral research, conducted under the guidance of eminent scholar Prof. Darla Venkateswara Rao, focused on “Kendra Sahitya Akademi Bahumati Pondina Telugu Katha Samputulu (1982–2015) – Pariseelana”.
