SiliconIndia, in a statement said, “The parameter of judging a college’s quality is the performance of its graduates in the industry, which in turn can be measured by the pay package commanded by them.”
At University of Hyderabad the MCA curriculum is equivalent to (in fact higher in level than) any B.Tech. in CSE and our students perform on par with our M.Tech. Students. The Electives jointly held for both MCA and M.Tech. programs is perhaps an important feature, said Prof. A K Pujari, Dean, School of Computer & Information Sciences. He further added that normally in all AICTE approved colleges, MCA folks are normally taught by MCAs. MCA graduates cannot teach B.Tech. etc. But, our students are grounded in basics of Computer Science better than most B.Tech. engineering college graduates.
Faculty of School of CIS are highly knowledgeable, actively involved in research, warm, caring, student-friendly, a very good faculty-student ratio that allows for more personal attention from teachers, projects in cutting-edge technology that make students highly competent. Electives that track latest developments in respective fields, seminars held in the school which include high-profile researchers in the country and workshops done by top MNCs like IBM, Special Assistance Programme from UGC, thrust area of Green Computing, Publications in reputed journals and conferences by faculty make the MCA programme of University of Hyderabad one of the best in the country, added Dr. Pujari.
