The NSS cell, University of Hyderabad organized a cleanup drive on the premises of the School of Humanities in coordination with the Horticulture and Sanitation department on 21 October 2023. The NSS volunteers cut and removed the unnecessary plants, bushes, and creepers, swept the dry leaves and cleared the heavy wooden logs lying over in the garden of the School of Humanities for years.
Speaking with the volunteers Dr. B. Krishnaiah, NSS Coordinator–cum–Programme Officer said that everyone who joined the university is a beneficiary by making use of the privileges available on the campus. It is also the responsibility of everyone to pay back to the university/society. Dr. Bhimsingh, Programmme Officer guided the volunteers while participating in the programme. Ajay Prakash, Venkatesh, Nitin, Mustafa, Rishab Sharma, Yogendra Pratap Singh, Anees Ahmed, Kusuma, Maneesha, Divya Dhanesan, D. Pratap, etc. participated in the programme.
