The NSS Cell, University of Hyderabad organized a clean-up drive at the Sports Complex approach road in coordination with the Horticulture and Sanitation Departments on 11 November 2023.
The volunteers cut the bushes, and branches of the trees on both sides that were spreading over and narrowing down the approach road. They cleared the dry leaves and filled them in the garbage bags. They transported the cut branches and waste to the dump yard by tractor.
Volunteers worked for almost 4 hours beginning from 7:30 am to 11: 30 am. Dr. B. Krishnaiah, NSS Co-ordinator and Dr. Bhimsingh, Programme Officer guided the volunteers while participating in the activity. Mallesham, Sudhakar, Vikram, Prakash, Dananjay and others from the Horticulture and sanitation departments participated in the programme.
