The IGM Library, University of Hyderabad, successfully conducted a Staff Training Programme on the VTLS Library Automation software application on 22nd April 2026.

The programme was organised with the objective of familiarising staff members with the various modules, features, workflows, and effective utilisation of the VTLS system. The session provided a comprehensive overview of the application, highlighting its role in streamlining library operations and enhancing user services.

All the IGM Library and CIS library staff actively participated in the programme, engaging with the resource persons through discussions and queries. Their enthusiastic involvement made the session highly interactive and insightful, contributing to a productive learning experience for all attendees. To facilitate seamless participation, arrangements were also made at the DLAN Lab, IGM Library, while provisions were also made for staff to join the session online.

Overall, the programme proved to be highly beneficial in enhancing staff understanding of the VTLS system and strengthening their ability to efficiently access and manage library resources. Such initiatives play a crucial role in improving service delivery and keeping staff updated with evolving library technologies.
