Mr. Bharat Bhushan, Integrated Master of Science (I.M.Sc) student of Chemical Sciences 2008-13 batch at University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been appointed as Assistant Professor in Chemistry in the Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Muzaffarpur (Bihar). This appointment has been through the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). At present he is pursuing his Ph.D in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai. His areas of research are development and application of metal membranes for hydrogen separation.

Bharat Bhushan is a native of Nalanda District of Bihar. He has done his initial schooling from Patna and after 12th standard he joined University of Hyderabad in I.M.Sc course in the year 2008 and cleared NET exam in December 2012. After I.M.Sc he was in teaching positions in various IIT coaching institutes in Hyderabad. He joined BARC through OCES exam which is conducted by Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. He was the part of 58th batch of BARC training School and was allotted Membrane Development Section, Chemical Engineering Group BARC for his Ph.D. His area of research is development and application of metal membranes of Tantalum, Palladium and Niobium for application in Iodine-Sulphur Thermochemical cycle. He also has a high impact publication in International Journal of Hydrogen Energy.
