Lekshmy M.A., research scholar at the Department of English, presented a paper at the 120th Annual Conference of the Pacific Ancient Modern Languages Association (PAMLA 2023) held in Portland, Oregon, between October 25-29, 2023.

The paper, titled “Narrative Ecologies and Identity Agents in Contemporary Jewish American Literature,” was presented on the “Jewish Literature and Culture” panel. The paper focused on intergenerational frameworks in contemporary literary works and argues that the resultant narrative ecologies influence ethnic identity formation. She is a Senior Research Fellow working on identity formation and development as represented in contemporary multiethnic American literature.

The Institution of Eminence (IoE) funded the travel for presentation
