Prof. V. Venkata Ramana, senior faculty in the School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been invited to chair a session and also present a paper at the International Academy of Business and Economics (IABE) Conference at Summer Conference “Growth and Value-Creation: New business opportunities and challenges, methods and tools for change” to be held from June 14-16, 2017 at University of Sassari, Alghero, Sardinia, Italy, Piazza Università 21, Sassari (Italy).

The mission of IABE conference is to create a platform where academics, consultants and practitioners from economic fields can present their research results, exchange their experiences or can find business solutions.

After the Conference Prof. Venkata Ramana will be visiting Verona, Geneva, Paris, Berlin and Poznan to deliver talks at prestigious institutions to faculty, researchers and business leaders during his trip. He will also be visiting the World Trade Organization (WTO) Headquarters in Geneva to interact with key personnel.

Prof. Venkata Ramana holds a Master’s Degree and a Doctorate in Business Management and has over two and half decades of professional experience spanning academics, research, industry and business consulting in the areas of General Management, Corporate Strategy, Banking, Infrastructure and Services Sector Management. He has also been awarded Best Professor in Marketing Management by CMO Asia in 2012 in Singapore and has recently been appointed as the Member of the First Academic Court of the Central University of Rajasthan by the President of India. Prof. Ramana is also the special invitee of the CII Telangana Council and had the distinction of accompanying the Hon’ble President to Guangzhou during May 24-25 ‘ 2016. He has vast experience as an Academic administrator and has earlier served as Dean of the Management School in UoH for almost seven and half years and also has been recipient of many awards for his contribution to the field of Higher Education in General and Management Education in particular.
