The results of the elections held for the Student Union of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) for the year 2019-20 have been announced. After a day-long process of counting the votes polled on 26 September, 2019, the results were announced today (27 September, 2019) late night that saw intense competition among the candidates who contested the elections for the different posts.
More than 4200 students took part in the polling that was held yesterday.
The results of the elections are as follows:
President’s post
Won by Mr Abhishek Kumar securing 2205 votes.
Vice-President’s post
Won by Mr M Sree Charan securing 1843 votes.
General Secretary’s post
Won by Mr Gopi Swamy securing 2039 votes.
Joint Secretary
Won by Mr Rathod Pradeep securing 2040 votes.
Cultural secretary
Won by Ms Priyanka Badrasetty securing 1898 votes.
Sports secretary
Won by Mr. Sohel Ahamed securing 1776 votes.
