The second talk of the Spoorthi series began with the Inaugural address given by Prof. Sanjay Subodh, Director, Centre for Integrated Studies. It was presided by the Vice- Chancellor (I/c) Prof. J. Anuradha. The Registrar, Sri Devesh Nigam, also graced the event with his humble presence.




Sri. Umesh Sharraf, IPS, DG Telangana Special Protection Force (Retd.) – Anti Ragging and Discipline
The first discussion focused on acceptable behaviors within a university setting, focusing on ragging, cyberbullying, and violence. It emphasized the importance of reporting such incidents and highlighted the legal ramifications of these actions. He elaborated on the aspects of unacceptable behavior at the University, such as ragging, cyberbullying and other offences, as well as violence. He discussed the outcomes of such behavior and need to prevent this kind of behavior.
Sri Ravula Giridhar, Superintendent of Police, Eagle force, spoke on Drug abuse: Prevention and precautionary measures by using visual demonstration such as short films. He discussed the outcomes of drug abuse, the reasons & need to avoid the drug abuse.
After his influential talk, he concluded by requesting all students to love their family, and stay morally grounded, not to use drugs and lead a happy and healthy life.
